Bladderwrack Powder (Seaweed)

Bladderwrack is a seaweed. This extract is recommended for toning the skin and stimulating cell activity. Great in baths, bladderwrack provides various minerals and salts that cleanse and refresh the skin.

When using it as a soap colorant it gives a gray - green color. it can either be added to the lye water or added to the soap mix at light trace. It will in this case give a speckled look.

Bladderwrack contains significant amounts of mucilage, protein, vitamin C and polysaccharides, including fucoidans, fucans and algin. Bladderwrack is also a rich source of natural iodine and trace minerals.
